Bohemia Interactive Community Awards 2009 winner announcement!

Prague, Czech Republic – 12^th February 2010 – Bohemia Interactive together with NaturalPoint and RockPaperShotgun.com today announces the closing stage of their annual Bohemia Interactive’s Community Awards – the winner’s announcement! We received many, many votes and very positive feedback, not only from our dedicated community, but also from the public as a whole.

The second annual Bohemia Interactive Community Awards was a huge success with 500 nomination votes and a total of nearly 5,000 votes through all categories. So without further ado, here are the winners:

Bohemia Interactive in collaboration with NaturalPoint and RockPaperShotgun.com is pleased to announce the launch of the 2009 Community Awards where the community nominate and vote for their favorite community enterprises of ARMA and ARMA 2.

Prague, Czech Republic – 1st December 2009 – Bohemia Interactive together with NaturalPoint and RockPaperShotgun.com today announces the start of the 2009 Community Awards which invites the extensive ARMA and ARMA 2 community to nominate and vote for their favorite fan made content. Winner of each category will win a pack of attractive prizes including one of 5 TrackIR’s from NaturalPoint.

We’ve added a new category – Best ARMA/ARMA 2 User Created Movie – in order to demonstrate the unique gaming experience and favorite aspects of the Bohemia’s titles fans.

The Bohemia Interactive Community Awards 2009 contest consists of three phases:
- Nominations: starting today till December 31st 2009 12:00PM CET
- Final voting: January 1st 2010 12:00PM CET – January 31st 2010 12:00PM CET
- Winners announcement: first two weeks in February 2010;

The following categories are included:

O algo así podríamos sacar de la nota de prensa que sigue en la que comentan cómo premiarán a la comunidad de jugadores otorgando premios a las cinco siguientes categorías: Mod/Addon del año, Campaña/Misión del año, web del año, Miembro del año (no penséis mal… miembro de la comunidad… bueno, PERSONA de la comunidad) y vídeo del año. Lo explica Jan Prazak en la misma nota de prensa: que ellos, desde el 2001 que empezaron con el Operation Flashpoint, siempre han creído en su comunidad de PC y que estas nominaciones son un reconocimiento a su trabajo. Es de bien nacidos se agradecidos y obviamente BIS es consciente de que gran parte de su nombre se lo deben a la comunidad que mejora en gran medida su trabajo. Estos premios comenzaron el año pasado, auspiciados por el ArmA 1. Este año como es lógico, se centran más en su segunda entrega si bien se puede nominar a cualquier trabajo sobre cualquiera de sus juegos. Este evento en tres fases comienza el 1 de Diciembre de 2009, a las 12:00PM CET con las nominaciones y continúa con la fase de votación en Enero de 2010.
